Bill Hart's Lights for a Cure display in Middletown runs through New Years Day.

Ready to light up your holidays? Here are six places readers have said have great holidays lights:

3 Iona Court and 4 Iona Court, Bear, where neighbors Steve Robinson and Rodney VanEiken have a friendly neighborhood lights competition going. Each year they add more lights or another homemade display.

• 137 Pine Valley Drive, Middletown. Bill Hart's Christmas display had 28,000 LEDs and 3,140 pixels, with a computer controlling the program. The show is called Lights for a Cure and raises money for local charities in honor of his wife, who is a 10-year breast cancer survivor. It features an animated snowman, snowball fight, pink ribbons with a lit sign spelling out HOPE. It will run nightly from through News Year's Day from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. • The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington. The light display is sponsored by people who buy strands of lights to help fund rooms for the families of sick children being treated at nearby hospitals.

303 2nd Avenue, Wilmington. Albert Lasavage's holiday displays return with a few thousand more lights that include giant Christmas balls that light up and a carriage from Cinderella. Santa Clause will be there some Saturdays and Sundays until Christmas.
