Comedian Jeff Foxworthy, The Beach Boys and singer Smokey Robinson are headlining the Freeman Stage in Selbyville this summer for the venue's 11th season. 

The March 8 reveal was just one of two big announcements by the Freeman Stage, which has attracted 400,000 visitors since 2008.

"This season will be our biggest yet," president and CEO Michelle Freeman said. 

From jazz and local artists to Shakespeare and ballet, the Freeman Stage will host 63 performances during its 2018 season.

Mike Love of the Beach Boys  will perform at the Freeman Stage in 2018.

"This year’s performers include two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, a Tony Award winner and combined, have more than 66 Grammy Awards and over 75 Grammy nominations; 18 Country Music Association Awards and over 50 nominations; and six American Music Awards," according to a Freeman Stage press release. 

Eagles tribute band Hotel California, musician Trombone Shorty, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr. will perform in the First State this summer at the Freeman Stage. 

"Our mission of providing memorable performances and diverse arts experiences for all truly shines through this season and will set the stage as we forge ahead with the future," said Patti Grimes, executive director of The Freeman Stage. 

Tickets go on sale March 26. A second reveal open to the public will be held on Monday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach.
