Wilmington pop act The Limits will perform "Boat Girl" at Kelly's Logan House in Wilmington Friday night.

Delaware Music TV is an occasional series highlighting Delaware-made music videos and the musicians who make them.

Our third installment is from Wilmington pop/rock band The Limits. We spoke with singer/guitarist Andrew Price about the video for the song "Boat Girl," which was released last month.

Band:The Limits

Hometown: Wilmington

Genre: Electronic dance rock

Who’s in the band?: Andrew Price, Steve Payne, Napz Mosley, Louis Matos

Song title: "Boat Girl"

What's the song about?: The song is loosely about a day I spent on a boat with some of my best friends who live in Sussex County. We all got on my friend Sean's boat called the HydroHostel. I brought about 10 bottles of wine and champagne. There happened to be a girl hanging out with me and I like her, so I decided to make a song for her. Then I wanted to tie Delaware into the song, so I decided to just reference things that I and my friends do in the summer -- Firefly Music Festival being one of them. But, yeah, the song's about blacking out on a cool boat with a bunch of booze and girls. Wanted to make a summer party song for Delaware.

Where was the video filmed?: We filmed the video at a few locations. The video starts at the Trolley Square Oyster House in Wilmington. We go to the bar all the time so we decided it was the obvious choice to make the concept as close to reality as possible. The rest of the video was shot on a boat in the Indian River Bay. We pulled up to a spot called James Beach where it's shallow and shot everything there.

Who directed it?: Louis directed and edited the video.

What was the video’s concept going in?: Well the concept was to show me leaving the Oyster House then falling asleep, going into a dream sequence which would end up being the "Boat Girl" video. We wanted to have a bunch of girls on a boat, thinking we would all drink champagne, party on the boat and film it. We don't know any girls, so that never happened. It ended up just being us drinking and pushing each other around. None of us remember leaving that part of the bay that day.

Were any animals (or anything else) harmed during the making of this video? No animals were harmed. We just destroyed our livers for four hours and got sunburn.

What type of alcohol, if any, was consumed to help aid the production?: It's only ever French wine...and a few hundred Twisted Teas.

Next live show:Kelly's Logan House in Wilmington on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. Free.
